On June 14, 2017, the 1st RESOLVE Business Forum (RBF) on “Mediation – Resolution – Cooperation” was successfully held by RESOLVE Mediators at the Radisson Blu Park Hotel (10 Alexandras Ave., Athens).

RESOLVE Business Forum is the first educational – business Forum in Greece that is addressed to Entrepreneurs, Managers and Business Executives and aims at their detailed information on the use of Mediation both in out-of-court dispute resolution with external associates and in resolving issues with internal partners. Τhe ultimate goal of the use osf Mediation is the better operation of teams within the company.

After the registration and the welcome of the participants, the Forum started with the Educational Unit of Mr. Spyros Antonelos and Mrs. Rena Matsouka, Mediators, Trainers, Lawyers, Partners and Co-Founders of RESOLVE Mediators, with topic: “Mediation in civil and commercial cases – Mediation in the workplace”.

Aftrwards, a panel discussion was held on “Which methods do companies use for the most effective cooperation of their team members?”, which was coordinated by Mrs. Eleni Plessa, Mediator, Trainer, Lawyer, Partner and Co-Founder of RESOLVE Mediators in which the following participated: Mrs. Danae Bezandakou, CEO of Navigator Shipping Consultants LTD, Young Global Leader 2015 – 2020 World Economic Forum, President and Co-Founder of I For U Mentoring Network, President of US Alumni, Founder of YES Forum, Mrs. Xenia Kourtoglou, Founder and Managing Partner of Focus Bari, Co-Founder of e-satisfaction, Co-Founder I For U Mentoring Network, Business Coach & Mentor and blogger at the Huffington Post, Mrs. Fani Kleida, Managing Director of Manpower Group of Greece, and Mr. Dimitris Koutsolioutsos Founder of INSTAYACHT and of Farmers Republic of Greece.

After a short – and necessary – coffee break, Mrs. Eleni Plessa presented the Training Unit on “Skills and the process of Mediation as tools of modern entrepreneurs and business executives”. Then, experiential exercises were held with the active participation of the participants, coordinated by the Mediation Trainers of RESOLVE Mediators, through which the participants had the opportunity to approach the topic of the Forum in practice.

At the end, the participants were given certificates of participation, thank you gifts were given to the Speakers, Sponsors and Supporters and lunch and drinks were provided.
